I came across this while I was surfing the Internet and ended up on the History website. This covers the entire Vietnam wars from WWII to the Vietnam U.S. War. I can only write about when I was there, but this explains the entire history of Vietnam and it's wars.

According to a survey by the Veterans Administration, some 500,000 of the 3 million troops who served in Vietnam suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, and rates of divorce, suicide, alcoholism and drug addiction were markedly higher among veterans.
