Not very pleased about the way this was done.

I also have mixed feelings. On one hand it apparently was against school policy, yet the participants were given the option to opt out. I would never participate in this ritual as it doesn’t make sense to me. But to each, their own. What really bothers me are these school councils that operate in a world of their own, often without due process. Personal experience at my alma matter with a “parking ticket”, where I was in the right, but if they let me off it would send the incorrect message (their words). What a crock!
