RIP Adrian, Robin Williams did an awesome job in the movie, I wonder how close to the "real thing" it was

Apparently not that accurate. Most of the movie was extemporaneous. Now while that made for an entertaining film (plus an Oscar for Robin), a lot of the movie was made up.
