SGT Jonathon Caldwell I just missed seeing him at a Christmas show in 1970. He was suppose to make a stop for a show at the Kadena AFB NCO club in Okinawa, but his plane was delayed and another part of the group that was entertaining troops at Christmas was able to land and they filled in for the missing Bob Hope. The top billing on the substitute entertainers was non other than Ike & Tina Turner! It was a great show, and I can tell you when she did proud Mary, she got a standing ovation!
