As disheartening as this sounds these type of individuals do exist. It's quite morally unethical for human beings to take advantage of the military's supporters but it sadly happens. So let's be vigilant while donating to veterans support charity's my fellow RP members.

As someone who works with and even started a Veteran Service Organization I tell all donors to do your homework. Check out their website and social media outlets. Ask them your questions directly. Most of us are completely transparent because as a 501(C)(3) we must remain good stewards of the public's hard earned dollar. If you can't get the answer(s) you want, then look elsewhere.

You have got to watch close anymore. I never give to telemarking, I always ask. The Fisher House is suppose to be good but Wounded Warriors appears to be on the way down.
