Banning books in schools. Now here's a subject on which reasonable persons may disagree reasonably. Let's see if we're reasonable. Personally, I am dismayed when I seen classics like Tom Sawyer, To Kill a Mockingbird, and others banned from schools. I'm equally dismayed when I see sexually explicit books offered to children. Does that make me unreasonable?

I am torn. My gut agrees with you. But my logic does not.
What is the argument against books like Gender Queer or Lawn Boy? It covers topics, situations, and language that is inappropriate for younger audiences.
What is the argument against books like Tom Sawyer or Uncle Tom's cabin? It covers topics, situations, and language that is inappropriate for younger audiences.
But they are DIFFERENT my gut tells me. But they are the SAME says logic.
