When I moved from Warner Robins to Dawsonville, cycling became dangerous. In WR I rode on the base about 3x’s a week and road with my club southeast of WR where the roads were safe.
When I moved to Dawsonville I found the roads not very friendly, ie., curves, hills and no pavement beyond the fog line. A friend told me about Zwift, a program on the computer. You need a smart trainer to attach your bike to and a computer. It picks up the trainer, you wear a heart rate monitor and you have an rpm doggle on one pedal.
You list your height and weight and the program inputs your resistance.
You are then riding different courses on a number of worlds, some are actual routes from different professional cycling races. You ride with thousands of riders from around the world and you can draft other riders and they can draft them. There are also a slew of training programs to pick from.
Not sure how I would have kept up my cycling workouts without the program.

Both Discipline And Self-Discipline Are Learning Processes.
And It Takes A Lot Of Time And Effort To Develop And Be Properly Used.
It Starts With Minor And Perhaps Unimportant Issues , Like Hanging Up Your Clothes
Instead Of Tossing Them On The Bed ~~~ Then You Work Up To Major Issues One Step At A Time And Give Thought To What Should Be Done ~~ Then Do It.

Lt Col Charlie Brown A person has to make the decision to exercise. I walk a daily three mile route to keep my back in shape plus walking the classroom all day. My goal is at least 10,000 steps per day. I make it at least nine out of ten days.
