Yes it was TSgt Joe C.. I had worked nights the day before the attack. I was asleep and a buddy of mine called and said " Keith, can you believe this crap"? I asked what crap and he told me to turn on my TV. Right after it came on the second plane crashed. It took me several minutes to realize what was happening. It upset me so much I didn't go to work that night. I was liked millions of people. I couldn't believe it happened in our country.

Love or hate him, agree or disagree with his actions, he held it together for the sake of the kids. I was at Ground Zero with him and he was very sincere and took time to speak to as many as possible. He was truly hurting just like the rest of us. Good article, thanks for sharing.
