We will not be trusted by our allies for some time. President Biden has deserted everyone.

It will be a long and painful process of rebuilding the trust we held with our allies. This is an epic diplomatic blunder that cannot be fixed by dolling out dollars and military aid to allies that no longer trust us or our professed commitment to stay the course. Trust that has been discarded in the name of political expediency and an arbitrary date on a calendar.

In 1842. the British pulled out of Kabul and 30,000 people, soldiers and citizens died at the hand of the Taliban then. That was almost 200 years ago and the lesson is still not learned.

LTC David Brown - Most of the troops in 1842 were Indian in ethnicity, they were part of the British empire and so were called British troops....not so much though. Taliban are fundamentalists in their religious belief. 1842 the Afghans fighting the British were traditionalist and supported Persian rule. Additionally, that whole war was more against the tenets of the East Indian Trading Company more than anything else. Natives fought against same Company in the Carribean, it was horribly exploitive of native populations.

This is another extension of the Democrats "Win at all costs" political strategy which most saw at the time was a slippery slope. So now American lives are no longer above the bar of political costs to win the next election. Leave Americans behind in a hostile country if you have to win the next election with a political slogan has now become OK and a rational choice in view of some Democrats, including POTUS.

BS. Trump made the peace deal and did nothing for 6 months. Biden got out nearly 150,000 people. So, cry on your Trumpie Bear.

Someone's panties are in a bunch. I guess he miss the part where 45 was out of office and no longer making Foreign Policy Decisions, Military Operational Decisions, handling Diplomatic Realtions... The international community and our allies got close to 150,000 people out. Our actual total number was just over a third of that. Got to love some who can't move on. It's almost 2022 and the media and this Unverified Troll are still winning about the Orange Man. Move on!!!! (ᵕ̣̣̣̣̣̣﹏ᵕ̣̣̣̣̣̣)
