This scenario is appalling! Why, you ask... because the government of today is NOT a government by the People For the People, but rather a government by the government for the government and the people must like it... Our Freedoms are now rapidly being taken away by these very politicians who shout Unity, but only if you sign on for their agenda... Otherwise, you will be cancelled... It is not just me saying this, but Large businesses, the Media, the left wing politicians, and more... What the Hell has happened?

CW3 Harvey K.
PO3 Dale S. - The strategy of "Gradualism" has long been the policy of the Left. Nowhere is it more blatantly clear than in the boasting of its use in furthering the undermining of the 2nd Amendment.
"We're going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily — given the political realities — going to be very modest. Right now, though, we'd be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal — total control of handguns in the United States — is going to take time. My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition — except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors — totally illegal." -------- Pete Shields, 1976 -- Handgun Control (now DBA The Brady Campaign)
Good to see his estimate of required time for the "goal" had expired by 1986, and we now have just 8 states continuing with "may issue" CCW laws. There are also about a dozen with "Constitutional carry".
