I have an Ithica 37 and a Winchester 12 that I just refinished. Neither are the Trench model, but still pretty cool.. Nice share!

Ithaca model 37 was the best police shotgun ever made. Sadly when the company went out of business we had to switch over. The Remington’s suck. Best police guns out there now are made by Mossberg. But I really miss my Ithaca.

SMSgt Thor Merich - I'll have to differ with you on the Mossberg/Remington issue. Mossberg 500 only has a double action bar because they were to cheap to buy the copyright from Remington. When the patent ran out, Mossberg adopted the superior Remington design. LOL

Where the Mossberg beat the Remington is the location of the safety. The safety is easier to reach, especially during a combat situation. I will say that many police agencies use the Remington 870, so that alone says a lot. However, both the Remington’s and Mossberg are still inferior to the old Ithaca 37 Deerslayer. Just my 2 cents.

SMSgt Thor Merich - The Safety is a better design. No doubt. Now that Mossberg has gotten away from the plastic trigger group and gone back to aluminum they are back were they should be. The 870 vs. 500 debate will rage on.
I am a fan of the Ithica Model 37 and the Win Model 12. Something bad ass about proven weapons of war!
