Last time I checked you could own a gun pretty much everywhere in America. Stop buying into the NRA's propaganda that Democrats want to take your guns away. What Democrats want is for people who should not own guns to not be able to own them. This is a smart idea no? So why did the U.S. Senate just crash any hope of that -three letters N R A.

Take a look at Chicago Baltimore place run by democrats for decades and have the strongest gun laws. More gun laws lead to confiscation and that's what democrats want. So fuck gun control advocates.

It is unlawful for a convicted felon to own a firearm. Outside of that, keeping due process in place, please tell me - how do you decide which Americans "should not be able to own" guns? That's the problem, who do you say no to? Anyone can be placed on the terror watch list, anyone can be put on the no fly list.... sometimes there is good reason and sometimes not.... so, how do you decide who should and should not have a gun? If a doctor prescribes Valium to you, should your gun rights be revoked? If you take part in an activist rally and end up on a list, should your rights be revoked?
I think that's the crux of the issue... no one (including the NRA) wants a psychopath, or a terrorist to have access to guns... the issue is loose language legislation that will strip gun rights away from American citizens without due process.

Funny how things are progressing. All it took was one attack on the guy community and they now are hearing conservative's message. I read elsewhere a large number (sorry I do not have a "hard" number) of LGBT leaders are switching support to Trump. Knowing that whole LA area...good luck getting a gun much less a conceal carry permit.

I am proud California Refugee and can say that you are right up to a point. Right now you are restricted on where and how you can have your gun depending on the county you live in. As of 2000, Riverside was great about gun ownership and almost anyone could get a conceal carry permit. At that time Orange Country was getting a little restrictive but it was not impossible to conceal carry. funny I live in riverside county. and youre right it depends on where you live. but most people are just trying to get hand guns and some sort of rifle. you have to pass a background check and wait 10 days. why do people have such a problem with californias gun laws. people act like Obama is coming for their guns
