Superintendent Gen. Robert Caslen and his wife Shelley were recognized at West Point Friday for their service to the Academy and country as Gen. Caslen relinguished Flag and retired from the Army after 43 years service. SALRADIO highlights the event held in the Eisenhower Hall ballroom with over 500 friends, classmates, and family on hand. Offering remarks was the Chief of Staff of the Army, Gen. Mark Milley who recognized Gen Caslen for his leadership at West Point, 42 months served in combat areas, and "Never, ever blaming, a subordinate". Gen Caslen remembered soldiers who were KIA in his division including a West Point graduate he had instructed.
