Good Old Dad , he didn't remember how the war injured him nor did have a any items , souvenirs , picture or anything after serving nearly 2 year in WWII. He Severed got out took him about 3 year to get out the wheel chair few more to get going again and eventually went back to work. His favorite job was working for the County Road Department in Lawrence KS they hired all the Veterans back then without a lot question or judgment " if you where willing to work you had a job" and could make a livable wage.
