I'm glad to see the author believes we have 50-250 years before AI develops enough to decide humans are no longer necessary. We need to program AI entities with a rule that says it cannot kill humans. We might even go further and program all AI with a rule that says humans are God and God is the Creator therefore humans cannot be killed or creation will cease. I think I've seen that movie.

Killing us would not be the problem, although that would be important. Control is the problem, being alive and subject to the control of machines. Slaves.
