Whenever you see "Democratic People's Republic..." in the name of a nation, you can bet it has nothing to do with "Democracy", "People", or "Republic"...

It's more like socialists dictatorship. I always found it funny how ironic communist countries names sounded.

Now that makes sense. Kind of what you'd expect from China, use and abuse until you get what you want then toss aside. Wasn't aware of how far Hong Kong had fallen from favor though, thanks.

It was only matter of time China secretly always seethe at Hong Kong because while the city they marveled at the people China hated they spoke English never shy about freedom of speech two fundamental things China hates.
