ISIL is like the Terminator. You can't negotiate with it. Its sole purpose is to kill you!

Col (Join to see) - in the 1980's their teachers, were my students, I will admit that I had a hand it teaching them to think and project out comes. That is why in 2003, I returned to serve. I used two books Military Operations in Low Intensity Conflict and Zun Tzu Art of War, back in the 80's to teach tactics.

CPT Pedro Meza - Sir - we have yet to figure out for some reason that such killing is no more effective than maintaining something to look like positive news when waging a war against an insurgency and not a terror cell. For IS - killing leaders means you have zero intel on who immediately replaces them and that means you can not plan to anticipate them - nor can you deceive them - and you start the cycle all over trying to find them vs figuring out how they tick. The application of a Counter Terrorism action against an insurgency has proven that we can kill them and that they seem to have some very skilled leaders working as deputies.

CPT Pedro Meza - the same can be said of Al Qaeda AND the Taliban. That is why we ALL have multiple messes to clean up. But, we do our duties. Thank you for having the honor to continue to do yours.

Sir. Thank you and it very good reading, I will suggest that the powers that be are aware of the ideologies behind the terrorist, which helps to explain their reluctance to massive boots on the ground, because that is what ISIS/DAESH wants. Therefore the best solution is the use of Low Intensity Conflict troops combined with air support, I still would include more women fighters, because women are the key to dealing with misguided religious zealots.

This is one of the best articles I've seen on the subject (or at least it appears that way in my interpretation of it). ISIS/ISIL cannot hope to destroy Western Civilization. Instead, they are attempting to use terrorism to turn on each other and destroy ourselves. Whether by design or by accident, Trump seems to have intuit this and is advocating that we stop permitting them to send agents of terror here without turning against those Muslims already here and assimilated. Yes, I know that his opponents have interpreted his statements to mean that he wants war on all Muslims, that he is catering to Islamophobia, but I don't see any evidence of that. In fact, so long as the Left keeps heralding this message, they are inciting the very behavior that they accuse Trump of inciting. I wish they'd stop
