My comment, "POTUS issued an executive order aimed at reducing gun violence. Just like clockwork MSN is presenting articles on the increase in gun violence and the need to adjust the 2nd amendment. One of those is Angela Underwood, a journalist, and writer for MSN. While the information is relatively correct in facts it has been cherry-picked to represent a narrative that supports POTUS.
PEW has completed research on this subject they shared on February 3, 2022. The data is based on facts from authoritative sources and presents the big picture of this subject. I would venture to guess that the staffers that pushed for the executive order did not use this research as part of their results initiating the executive order. It's also interesting that while MSN offices in New York, Gov. Newsome, and AOC to name a few use armed guards for their own security."

Gun control has not worked in Lori life with Chicago except the guns are kept away from law abiding citizens and the crack dealers and other gang members have them and probably buy and trade them on the black market.
The defunding of the police and Lori Lightfoot didn't even get 20% of the vote so I just goes to show that the Lori Lightfoot Utopia is not what it's cracked up to be.

Let's not forget all the crimes stopped by gun owners each year, some studies suggest that number is in the millions, nor the active shooter incidents that were stopped or limited by legally armed citizens.
