The only new thing that will come from this convention is who Trump's running mate will be. Everything else is meaningless.

Trump is playing that one close to the vest, I suspect to keep the suspense and coverage at a peak.
My choice would be Tulsi Gabbard. Her politics are pragmatic and sensible, but mostly because she isn't a warmonger.

CPT Lawrence Cable I'm not a big fan of her socialist views, but maybe those might be severely lessened as veep.. I think it'll be Tim Scott or JD Vance. But I'm not holding my breath.
