as climate change affects the continent, we will see more glaciers and and ice shelf's collapse. As other nations begin to explore the Antarctic for natural resources, we will see countries like China and Russia begin to angle for mining and oil exploration. The Antarctic treaty will begin to be violated as countries like the US, New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and Norway will try to hold it together, while Argentina and Chile begin to make territorial claims. Once this happens, Russia and China will begin to move in and force countries like South Africa to follow.
