I have spent a lot of time studying history but never heard of this before. Seems that fake news isn't something new

Erin Nelson - I may have spoken rashly, but there needs to be evidence. Evidence such as Roman artifacts found in burial sites in Tennessee and Texas, or blond Indians in the Mississippi Valley that were likely descendants of Welsh fishermen who got blown to far at sea to make it home. I wouldn't be surprised if Egyptians found their way to these shores as well, but where's the evidence? As to the speculation of the crossing from the West (across the Pacific), that takes a real leap...

CPT Jack Durish Kinkaid"s story covered none of these things. A world renowned explorer Kinkaid was was on an expedition for the Smithsonian in the exploration of the Grand Canyon. He had already been doing so for several weeks when claimed to have dropped down into the ledge preceding the cave. Basically if you're familiar picture of the scenario of the two repellers that found the ruin at Roosevelt Lake thousands of people swim hike boat all over this lake every inch of it had already been considered as explored basically in total when these two dropped and just exactly the right place that they actually need a swinging inside this Indian run without knowing it was there huge cliff dwelling. From his description it's very similar process of how he discovered this cave. His story and the letter to the Smithsonian as well as report covered by the at the time Phoenix cuz that now Arizona Republic which until just a couple years ago had its local city set called The Phoenix Gazette. As the original newspaper of the time it still has the original story that it published in his archives and a copy of this is on still available for viewing on microfiche at the central branch of the Phoenix Public Library on Central Avenue and McDowell Road. He's in Wonder of the items that he discovered there and does not make special speculation on how they would have come to be there in fact he stays
