The so called big bang probably was silent since matter did not exist prior and therefore sound would not have been available, my friend Sgt (Join to see)
The assumption is that creation occurred at a point as opposed to a much larger "area" of "space" being filled and time actually beginning - since time is a measure of change.

That is perfectly fine, SPC Douglas Bolton! I grew up and am a Christian and believe as you... and in one passage of the Bible, it states that God made us in the image and likeness of himself... All that we learn, all that we do to understand our beginnings is to understand as much as we can about God and what and how He created everything... and that includes the scientific minds who research data and put that into tangible means which mortals can understand...
