Had he just released them when he was running for office......like every other recent candidate for major office has done.....this would be a non-issue. It's because he acts like he has something to hide, that the Dems are so anxious to get a peek at them. Had he released them on his own accord.....I doubt if anyone would have invested much time in trying to sort through them and understand everything. Now.......if they get them.....they will have experts pouring over them for months.

They have only a few weak allegations as a basis to look at them. So I have no problem with Trump stalling their release. If there was a serious criminal charge made and they had the basis of a investigation I would be for turning them over. What your going to find after they are released is the tax returns are a mess. You can go to the Trump Organization internet page and figure that out. He setup seperate LLC's, S-Corporations, C Corporations, etc for every little business endeavor he undertook or his kids undertook. Ivanka wants to sell perfume.......seperate LLC, Eric wants to dabble in Books, seperate S Corp, and so on and so forth (a lot of this is detailed on his website). None of the Democrats are going to be smart enough to wade through all these seperate organizations and make sense of what is and is not being reported so there will be a lot of negative innuendo and spin. It will be entertaining to say the least. However, nothing will come of the release of the tax returns because if there was something there the IRS would have discovered it with their constant audits. Congress will have to hire a team of CPA's or Accountants to pour through the tax statements for wrong doing and I am willing to bet they will make several false accusations that will be proven untrue later due to the complexity of the tax reporting.

Agree.....though for me personally it will be highly entertaining to see Congress try and make sense of the tax forms. Most of them do not even understand basic Economics. They will have to hire a team of CPA's to figure out the reporting and there is going to be all sorts of miscommunication and innuendo........in the end Congress will look dumb again.
