Who are we starting to deport that wasn't getting deported before? Brown-skinned legal residents? Damn, my mom is gonna hate going back to Korea. Maybe brown-skinned citizens? Where are they going to deport me, California? Where's antifa when you need them?

My homies. Nashville is slowly becoming ground zero for many in the leadership of these "groups". It's slowly become a Midwest convention center due to location. Most of the religious material was printed or published there in the past, not sure about anymore. Hence the term Printer's Alley, which is really a run-down city alley with a few sleazy bars these days. KKK was founded in Pulaski in late 1865-mid 1866, so the area has an attraction for wannabe haters.

It's not that bad. I live at the end of a 1/4 mi. dead end road, with clear fields of fire and lots of cover for good concealment. A 30 foot drop-off around the acreage refuses all but a southern approach, and I have several elevated positions for coverage of that. Lots of meth heads and wannabe outlaws that have never served in the military, but can kill the hell out of a stationary 80 lb doe; as long as it's within 100 yards or less - a little closer at night by spotlight. The cost of living is cheap and for now no state tax. There is still a bullet hole in a bannister at Capitol in Nashville from one time they tried to impose a state tax in late 1800s. So I guess we're not going to have a state tax any time soon. They make up for it with what averages out around 9.5 % sales tax (including local tax that varies). Walmart is the social hub and you can get to 5 states in anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours. "Almost" English is spoken and there are plenty of churches. It's dry but liquor is only 15 minutes away in KY.

Haters are gonna hate. I dislike a lot of things but can't say I really hate much. Nobody has done me wrong enough for me to hate them - yet. Some have come close. I reserve hate for the very worst, and hopefully that will never come, because it leads to kill. That's never a good thing except for in self-defense or in war - sorta - and it really pisses the big guy upstairs off. I used to hate long days after a night in the ville slamming beers till about an hour before reveille, but by dinner time it wasn't really hate. Just a dull headache and not much energy. A 3 mile run through the woods of NC in boots and utes always cured that.

SGT Gregory Lawritson - Every day's a Holiday, every meal a feast. We've got lots of critters too. Deer sleep in yard and pastures. Coons and Poncho the opossum eat what the yard cats don't off the porch. An occasional skunk will dig for grubs in the pasture, and spray any ole cat that gets too close. I've seen a couple of red foxes nearby, and the coyotes are everywhere. I've taken a pot shot or two at them but never really hunted. They are so skittish and rarely come out in the daytime. All sorts of hawks, owls, and blue heron come for fish out of the pond. It's well stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, and white crappie. The bass don't get much bigger than 5-6 lbs due to limited baitfish. They mostly live off the spawn. I have spinner targets for pistol and long range for rifle. I don't hunt but it's good to know there are possibilities if times get hard. I just moved back here so my kids could go to college here, and my family was here. All but one older brother are now dead. It made more sense than trying to fit in somewhere that I didn't understand. After being around all the different folks in the Corps, when we got back I wasn't so sure I understood this place anymore. Still trying to. I guess that's what they mean about "you can never go home". Because it will never be the same as it used to be.
