Honestly, my best drives have been Hitachi first, Western digital next. My least favorite is Seagate.

That's cool, I've been out of the industry for a number of years. So I didn't think my suggestion held much water. But when I was in the industry, I always had pretty good luck with Seagate drives. Every Western Digital drive I had always seemed to give me trouble. Guess they improved their product.

In my opinion, seagate SCSI. But that was several years ago when I worked in that field. The industry has changed so much since then, so I'm not sure who's best now. Just my input.

As I stated, what I experienced was several years ago. 1990's era.
