PO1 Kevin Dougherty It may be due to the $$$ we owe them?

Let us not forget all the research and development secrets we have allowed them to steal from our university labs, defense contractors and yes, our own government facilities.

PO1 Kevin Dougherty - I thought I responded to this at one point yesterday... however I'll comment once again. We never"ALLOWED" China to steal anything... just like they never allowed us to. That's what spies do.

I thought I had posted it earlier, but it seems to have disappeared. I would argue that our sloppy and lax background checks, vulnerability of our servers to hacking and general lack of solid security, especially at the basic research level has all but rolled out the red carpet. We're not just talking about military espionage, we've give away huge amounts of data through good old industrial espionage. How the heck do you think they got so good with the "bleeding edge" tech so fast and so cheap?

The solid answer is, we can't go to war with China.... We know this, they know this... it's just games... What we need to do is get the next generation of politicians in charge... They need to continue with nuclear disarmament and getting into more projects working together to make the world a better place rather than spending "Trillions" of dollars on the War Machine that we never plan to use on each other. I know this sounds crazy to the gung hoe leaders and the attitude of the older generation.... but we won't be around forever...

SGT (Join to see) - The world is going to change though Charlie.... People are getting to smart to continue to be controlled by a few greedy mongers who are willing to destroy the world to rule it

SGT (Join to see) - Probably not in our lifetime, maybe not in a hundred years, but look how much the attitude has changed the 50s go go go build enough nukes to destroy the world, to the 70, where we said "what are we doing and we started disarming, they we took a step back, and we started making some real progress again under Obama, but Trump set us back at least 2 decades..... another couple of generations, I believe we are going to see some real change.... saving the world means a lot more to the next generation than continuing to figuire out how to destroy it.
