The temporary splitting of the polar vortex is a weather phenomena similar to the varying El Nino/La Nina cycles. Weather is a chaotic system, not easily predicted, and no single weather event (warm or cold in one spot at one moment in time) should be used in the same sentence as Climate Change or Global Warming.

Key words include falsifiable hypothesis (the scientist is NOT ALLOWED to care what result he gets) and repeatable (the next scientist can perform the same experiment and get the same result).
