Why My Synagogue May Change its Prayer for America | Frontpage Mag

Its an interesting read. I found the comments to be more instructive than I thought they'd be.

I'm a practicing Catholic and I like the prayer. It works for Christian faiths as well as the Jewish faith. I understand where this Rabbi is coming from,but I see no reason for changing the prayer. I know that the woke leftists, have really screwed up this country and I am also aginst all this liberal/comunist crap but the USA is still the beacon of light. Just look at the rest of this screwed up world. We need to pray to God for his help always, so why redefine a fine prayer? Keep praying and turning to God, whichever faith you profess. If this country is so bad then why does everyone want to come here.

We are a nation of immigrants. This country was created to be a bastion of light to all of the world's oppressed. Unfortunately with the open borders the oppressors are now also coming across the border. The prayer is needed now more than ever. Thanks for the share MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
