During the Cold War Russia was a major influence. Putin has aggressively increased their influence on the world stage once again. 8 years of the last administration opened the door for many to gain influence. ISIS and Russian expansion. Iran and North Korea becoming actual nuclear threats... Russia will use this to their advantage.
