Some of the conceptual drawings had ADA secondary weapons for anti personnel and air defense. Air defense is ingrained in the Russian mind. The Germans ate their lunch with CAS in WWII. Post war doctrine called for an air defense system per kilometer at one point. That will be where they go next.

LTC (Join to see) I have look at the profiles and overhead shots of the Armata. It's huge compared to the T90. The issue isn't necessarily the technology but how well the crew is trained and how well the junior leaders can employ their platform . Never forget crew and organizational maintenance proficiency and the ability to refuel and rearm.
