I find it amusing that South Park can broadcast a mea culpa for their tall tales. But major news agencies and talk shows that knowingly spew propaganda and lies will not ! I wish they would just tell the truth ! Then I have to turn to the ole' saying. " Wish in one hand , crap in the other and see which one fills up first ! " Doesn't meet the criteria !

Even when our politicians issue a "mea culpa" they try to excuse themselves by blaming someone else.

I always say that "sorry doesn't end with the word but". As soon as someone who has apologized for something says " but" you already know that they are not sorry at all. If they were they wouldn't feel the need to provide justifications for their actions.
