Makes perfect sense if you've followed their water landing testing progression. Start of reentry is based on landing site, the more landing sites you have the more options for start of reentry.

And these two Oil Rigs they have purchased are moveable, so they could go quite far out into the Gulf of Mexico... for a launch or a landing sequence...

Boca Chica, self sufficiency, building most of the infrastructure from the inside out, now this is a vision! Between Musk and Branson (and maybe Bezos) I see a definite future for all things space related!

Thank Kerry. Very interesting. I want to live to see this become a reality. It looks more and more like this is going to happen sooner that I thought possible.
