Why the Military Must Learn to Love Silicon Valley

I don't know that they need to love them, just learn to work with them.

I have always prided myself in being able to work with almost anyone. Most technicians are honorable people that will listen if you have reasonable concerns about a project or equipment. Many see that there a many qualified technicians and engineers that can fill their rolls. Some are a little full of themselves. I doubt the military would suffer greatly w/o them regardless of where they are from, their political affiliation or beliefs. It boils down to; 1. Do they have the technical knowledge needed to complete the task? 2. Do they have the desire to complete the task? None of the other criteria mentioned really matter.
