Writing my problems on paper allows them to be digested and discarded.

CSM, I'm not sure how often you might comment on my posts, because as a civilian, unless you invite me as a connection, you show as "CSM Anonymous" to me (and you can imagine there are lots of CSM Anonymouses!) If you and I are frequent communicators, I can see from this post that you write great responses — if you'd do me the honor of an invite, I'd love to connect so that I can converse with "you".

I don't always have my lap top or PC, when good ideas, or maybe even some lines for a poem so I use what I have available.

Sgt Albert Duran Years ago, a 1SG in the Bn, after noticing my habit of taking notes in the palm of my hand, started doing it himself.

Nicci Eisenhauer I told my students that they had to write some papers they were handing in so that they didn't just go home and do it on a computer.

SPC Douglas Bolton I used to take notes (and sometimes still do!) to keep myself from falling asleep in classes! True confessions! And not I have "CRS" syndrome, so I REALLY need to handwrite things! I think seeing someone else's handwritten notes helps us remember their reminders, too. That would be something to research, but I find it true for myself, anyway. You?

Nicci Eisenhauer - I take in depth notes at my church services. They help me to write a new blog I am doing. I will let you know when it is up and running.

Evidence shows that the act of writing, rather than keyboarding, imprints information in the brain.

Lt Col Charlie Brown , I can actually feel it burning into that grey (or white?) matter! It really makes a huge difference for me and I imagine especially others with TBI.

I can understand that physically writing it gives each letter a new dimension in that you printed each letter as it registers in your mind.
