Why You Only Hear One Side Of The Debate Over Life's Origin

As I( taught human anatomy & physiology at the college level for the better part of a 30 year teaching career, and a conservative, confessional Lutheran Pastor, I found Darwin, et.al to be totally unconvincing….I also know that the Bible is not a science textbook, but revealed Scripture from God to His Church on earth. I love to learn about Intelligent Design as it seems to be humble enough to stand back at the human in awe and see the hand of God in our design.

Interestingly, it was atheist colleagues who announced to their classes that I had “no business teaching biology because I was a Christian”. Can you imagine? I just smiled and resumed teaching my students about the amazing Hand of God in our anatomy and physiology, and then ministered to their soul with Word and Sacrament in the church on weekends. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
