Even the 2015 and later V6 Dodge Challenger had someone test it out and they found that it can do 135 mph the brakes were not that good when it came to slowing down.

Looks pretty scary going down a narrow road.

The good thing is I would not have to try it now that I know what the top speed is. Another good thing about this vehicle is that it gets 30 miles per gallon on the highway. I took this picture but not the video.

LTC (Join to see) We have a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, we got it used in April 2018. It has the 3.2 L V6. Not long after we got it we had to make a trip down to Tampa Fla. I didn't try to see how fast it would go, I just got up to the speed limit and set the cruse. It got up to 26-27 MPG and it was able to go up to 400 miles on a tank of gas. I have seen in some of my FB groups that they will get up to 118 MPH, but they aren't made for speed.

SPC Gary C. Yours also has 9 speed automatic. The challenger comes with an 8 speed you may have lower gears and more wind resistance sitting higher. Looking up your horsepower, 271 horsepower is pretty good for such a small engine. It may just be the Lower 4 wheel drive gear ratio as well.

I had a 2001 Dodge Durango Durango with a 4.7 l V8 225 HP and a 4 speed automatic transmission and it only got 17 and 19 miles per gallon on the highway driving From California to Utah. Is those extra gears make a difference. I took mine to a 110 miles an hour because I was late for picking up someone at the airport and I knew my tires were rated for a 112. I was pulling 4000 rpm at that speed. It was a 2 wheel drive and I don't know what the gear ratio was in the rear.
