Guess what happens when you start thinking, It can't get any worse? The prosecution will not rest until they get a conviction for something, even if it's just a misdemeanor curfew violation.

Their mad because they can't convict him of murder for defending himself they will try something else to hurt this young man and destroy his perfect record.

If you carry a weapon be well trained and responsible, please. Open carry of an assault weapon in a city during a protest sends a message of violence. Granted, there was no reason to attack him. The police as I understand was not going to respond to any threat so civil response was welcomed.
Both the victim and the assaulters should be released, however, 2 people were shot. That act should come with a price.
