First crazy man to jump out of a perfectly good airplane :-). Seriously, think about how this man changed warfare.

Then why isn't Ft Bragg or Pope AFB named for him or General Ridgeway or General Gavin. They need to be named after Paratroopers

CW5 Jack Cardwell
Camp Bragg named in 1918 before Airborne. Pope AFB named after LT Pope an air crew member who died in A plane crash near by.
