Willy Williams, the most decorated enlisted sailor in Navy history

Back in 1998, while riding my bicycle around NAS Jacksonville, I saw a car with a MoH specialty plate. I caught with the car at an intersection and asked the occupant if he was a Medal of Honor recipient. He replied that he was. I rendered a hand salute (even though I was not in uniform) and asked his name. He reply was "Elliot Williams." Sadly, Chief Williams passed away soon after.
