Let them have at it, other than the Dell Call Center and a few others, what does the world have to lose?

Belcum to Dell! I had that experience as well with HP. They are licensing the F-16 for Production in India so they are very resourceful people.

This was a story that never hit much in the US press, but we could have all suffered a nuke winter.

India and Pakistan combined don't have enough nukes to create a nuke Fall, let alone a nuke Winter.

Right now PAK is not a friendly nation in spite of their protests to the contrary.

We need to realize that every nation will consider their needs over that of an ally and the US hasn't distinguished itself for decades as a reliable ally in Asia. Okay, PAK was our friend, now they aren't. Iran is MUCH closer to PAK than we are and they need to keep that in mind. We can continue agreeing to disagree with them while we make a new friend out of India. India is (theoretically at least) the largest democracy in the world. They are also replacing the PRC (was never a good idea) as our low cost manufacturing "go to" location. So from a political and economic point of view this makes better overall sense. Also, PAK was never as important as India could be with a little help.

We could be smart to group with India, but we would need to get them refitted with a more capable military. (Equipment.) We need a balance against China. India has the population and location to challenge China.

If they were to go with us (and Trump is the guy to broker a left field operation like this), we could conceivably slip a SOG into Northwest India along with an NSA listening post. 1st SFG(A) could conduct training along with a bunch of "contractors".
