Wishful Thinking: GOP Officials Think Trump Might Drop Out | The Mad Patriots

I know that our moral superiors will castigate me for posting something from The Mad Patriots (trash), but I can't find any of their favorite media speculating that the "news" of Trump's impending pull out from the race is just wishful thinking. They're too busy also thinking wishfully.

This is clearly a case of the news making the news. The only way this story has any weight is if someone in Mr. Trump's inner circle comes forward (even if anonymously) to say the Mr. Trump is considering suspending his campaign.
Hypothetical situation: For instructional purposes only assume I am a journalist. I engage in wishful thinking and muse that Secretary Clinton develops a conscience, and forswears seeking power for powers sake. I hear militant "Bernie" supporters saying the same thing. Because of my position I can get my musing public attention. Next thing you know, some news outlet is screaming "Secretary Clinton too Honorable to Seek Office". Problem is that she NEVER developed a conscience. PURELY HYPOTHETICAL.
