A1C Michael Allen - Yes, but also they wrote our Constitution in a manner it can me modified. Keep in mind our founders wrote that only land-owning white MEN could vote.

70%-30% is not what i would call bitterly divided. Conservatives love to use the majority argument when it favors their particular view(s).

Bitterly divided? 2 to 1 support Roe v Wade. The minority opinion need to suck it up. That's the problem with our electoral politics where the minority feel they can dictate policy to the majority or plurality.
