At some point in the continuum we find the appropriate solution. The counterintuitive approach is whereby we make extreme swings which more often than not tend to provide poor outcomes. In such circumstances as the aforementioned here, it is always a far better approach to solicit input from a variety of sources and an according discussion generally follows. In that vein we would likely find a reasoned solution and/or outcome that would serve to remedy a given situation. The old axiom of measure twice, then cut once applies quite readily. Many times our solutions are far too hasty in which we seek to have an immediate outcome or try to solve something that has been endemic to the problem. If we take the approach to find the best solution with the appropriate input it follows that significant corrections to a forced solution is unnecessary. Identify the problem, find solutions, select the most reasoned and effective solution for the problem. A caveat to this to re-examine the problem(s) with said solution in place to see if there exists a real need to tweak/improve upon the solution(s) in practice. Perfection is the goal but not the standard since the human element is always in play.
