Sgt Kelli Mays Honestly I can't say because there isn't enough information here about what preceded her being asked to depart the plane.

From reading the description of events in the article you provided there is no indication that the woman who was booted off was unruly Sgt Kelli Mays.
Other than the fact that she was crying because she was going to be forced off the plane there is no information about why she was forced off.
The fact that she was cheered and booed and the crew was cheered and booed with at least one person promising never to fly American Airlines indicates that whatever the incident was it did not offend the bulk of the passengers.
I would need much more information in order for me to form an opinion about what I would do.
