A hard ass CO, such as we had in the pre-Zumwalt regime, had been in place, this would not have happened. Today, the snowflakes would cry and complain and that CO would be relieved due to lack of confidence to lead.

The way that ship was handled and the amount of missile hazards in the berthing area was totally beyond belief. This is a warship not a Carnival Cruise ship. In years past, everything was welded down to make sure that it wouldn't get underway. I guess now the concern is to keep the crew happy and entertained. Hope they never have to leave port or fight.
