Some have said that DT is good for the country in that he has shaken up the status quo which has existed for so long and become more and more morally corrupt each and every day and year. He is busting icons left and right and challenging special vested interests and ideological stone walls. In doing so he has generated quite a bit of social and cultural opposition and counterattack by every cat and dog ideologue out there. Still, for the next 4 years he was elected by our very own process. Except now he is fair game for the disloyal opposition.

Great point--we are a nation of laws and hope to remain so.

Thanks for the post. Do I think there are more articulate, civil, and moral people than DT? Absolutely. Many can be found among the members of RP. But—he hasn’t DONE anything to be impeached. In fact, while I cringe every time he tweets, I don’t have too many issues with the things he has done (and even with his worst tweets, I take comfort in knowing that at least it’s not a tweet from Pres Hillary).

The absence of law is anarchy. And, as John Adams said, “...a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”
Letter to Abigail Adams (17 July 1775)
