I'd like to know if TBI/CTE was a factor. Landing wrong on a half pipe looks easy on TV, but it damn sure isn't in real life. His conditions prior to the suicide along with the NFL players does correlate with some of the issues seen by SM's. I'm no doctor, but I've done BMX(old ABA,NBL), flatland, and quarter pipe riding in my youth, and I've introduced my head to the ground a few good times, and I'm sure there are some strong similarities with sports where sudden impacts on the body is involved.

Exactly - that's why I mentioned the correlation between TBI/CTE and his suicide. We (RP) are aware of the high # of veteran suicides, and factor in former NFL (and other sports with blunt force involved) athletes committing suicide - it would not be realistic to talk about suicide awareness without mentioning the CTE/TBI/mental health aspect as well. It's sad - having lost friends to suicide and seeing icon's lose their struggle as well...just sad.
