Some bible scholars offering a bit of criticism here and there is hardly cause for you guys to riot. I think its great that religions are able and willing to take on projects like this without using my tax dollars. Perhaps Saudi Arabia will sponsor a museum to the Koran next door.

What's funny is this whole persecution by liberal criticism response, I didn't see any mention of liberal groups in the article. There was brief mention of secular groups, however I'm certain that if secular groups opened a Museum dedicated to showing why mixing Church and State was a bad idea, Christians groups would oppose it as well... especially if the secular group was getting tax exempt status.

A valid point. The article only mentions "critics". Maybe the only "critics" are the "journalists" of the Washington Post who are quite liberal.

CPT Jack Durish - I believe they mentioned a Yale Bible scholar, and alluded to other Bible scholars who took issue for one reason or another. I and most others who are not Christian are unlikely to waste any time or energy worrying about how the Bible is presented in this Museum, we simply don't have a dog in that hunt. The criticism is going to come from those somehow invested in the subject matter.

I am sure in the middle of Mecca there is a small area reserved for the Holy Bible and the story of the real Jesus it told or maybe not.

Jack I realize I am just a knuckle dragging barbarian, but I consider myself a pretty smart barbarian. I have found that if a religion has some bad apples trying to do some bad things in the name of said religion the majority of time the head of the religion would condemn the act and tell the rest of the flock to knock it off. What I find odd is the peace loving muslim faith has multitudes of its partitioners doing things you would think the head of the faith would condemn and make a public apology for. I have not been able to put my finger on it, but find it odd that I have not heard any thing form the the faith leadership. The only thing I have heard in their defense has come from mostly Americans who are not muslim. I am not real sure what to think. Hummmm

That all may be true but I don't see anything in a Judeo-Christian Bible Museum omitting Islam as an attack on Islam. Not everything is about Islam. Does the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame mention golfers?

First, there is no head of the Islamic religion. That's probably the first thing every knuckle dragging barbarian should understand about Islam. The second thing they should learn, and this is less about Islam than the media most knuckle dragging barbarians consume, is that while those actions have been condemned over and over by hundreds of Muslim leaders... it's not something that your going to hear about on Fox news. Last, I don't like broccoli... however if people were running around saying that broccoli is poison, I'd be inclined to point out evidence that refutes their claims.
