Interesting Article. I know many hate the Berets at Fort Riley as well. I for would like to see the Eisenhower Jacket come back. I know it wasn't in the article but saw that SMA Dailey had mentioned it in previous ones. I honestly do not think beards is a priority of the Army today, especially since many can't fill them in and they look sloppy and spotty but who knows! Maybe that will increase morale.

PVT (Join to see) - "Pinks and Greens" was a uniform worn by commissioned & warrant officers. Do you propose that uniform for enlisted personnel also? It was a sharp uniform which included light Olive Drab shade 54 "pink" trousers worn with dark Olive Drab shade 51 "green" jackets. The Army's enlisted personnel uniform of that period, also worn by officers, was Olive Drab shade 33.
