I haven't been on campus since 1980 in what would be considered a Southern University. I doubt that there was a Republican or Blue Dog Democrat in any of those departments then either.

You're probably right. We had a hard time finding conservative profs to attend our annual USMA-ROTC Military History Fellowship when I was there from 1988-91. The program was designed to help professors versed in war and society history with teaching operational military history to ROTC cadets. . . .

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Engineering and Medicine tend to draw the "Conservatives". Back then, Business also. Not sure that is true today.
